The Checkers is a light-hearted group of single-striped flight bag shapes, named after Marc’s favorite classic games, including Dominos, these bags are anything but serious. Soft lamb leather and minimal hardware make the bags easy to wear for everyday. As functional as they are cool, every handbag in the collection offers a front outside pocket. Lined in silk twill creates a distinction from our Runway bags and Core bag offerings. All hardware done in antique silver.
Named the Hairy Prisoners for the literal appearance. This group is made of beautiful calf leather treated to give its pony hair effect. The graphic stripes is a nod to the graphic prints of 60s Op-Artist Briget Riley whose body of work showcased a lot of black and white stripes.
