The trendy chain has announced that Donatella Versace herself has designed the exclusive collection for men, women and home for Autumn 2011.
“The exclusive collection will look back to the vibrant heritage of the brand, full of leather, print, color and exuberance in exclusive materials at fantastic H&M prices,” according to a press release.
The womenswear collection will be dominated by dresses, featuring studded leather and colourful prints, with accessories including high heels and costume jewellery.
Versace is the latest in a series of designers to collaborate with H&M. Past collaborations have included collections from designers including Matthew Williamson, Jimmy Choo and Sonia Rykiel.
The collection will start to become available on Nov. 17 in selected stores and online.
Donatella Versace’s super sexy styles carry on the family tradition of marrying fashion with rock ‘n’ roll, started by her enormously talented brother, Gianni, who was murdered in 1997.
Lines include the lower-priced line, the Versace collection, accessories and even haute coutore.
